Let's eat Ketupat

KETUPAT” is one of the famous traditional food in Indonesia, which is eat usually in Eid-Festive. I’m not a Muslim but try to make these one.

Ketupat is a dish made from rice and wrapped with young coconut leaves woven in a diamond shape.

You need more practice to could make the leaves woven or you can find easier at the market during the festive season and ready to use.

It can be served with some side dishes, such as a beef stew, Rendang or chicken curry.

I made vegetable soup with pumpkin slice, red chilies and cooked with coconut milk.

Then, I sliced Ketupat and covered with veggie soup, beef and tofu stew. You can enjoy it with Kerupuk (crisps).
